The Transformation of Open Space.

Truth be told, 2020 was a tough year for most, especially young people. Surprisingly, it's the opposite for us here at Open Space. I mean in a time of a devastating pandemic that have affected, and still affecting both individuals, and businesses etc. Open Space starts gaining the exposure it has always been striving towards.

We have Grown

In Sierra Leone, there are many unemployed youths. Because of the lack of jobs, many youths have decided to start their enterprises, yet there remains a lack of infrastructure to support these young businesses.  Open Space is solving this problem by providing a way to support start-ups, provide access to technology and entrepreneurship tools, resources, and networking, and in the long-term, to provide access to funding. In doing so, Open Space will provide a platform that supports young entrepreneurs, therefore solving the problem of a lack of infrastructure and support for start-ups in Sierra Leone.

"CHANGING LIVES, CHANGING PERSPECTIVES"

Every ground-breaking entrepreneur begins with a series of small ideas that are combined into an all-inclusive one. At Open Space, we wanted to change the misconceptions of youth entrepreneurs, by offering cost effective, simple, secure, user-friendly technology, entrepreneurship solutions, that these young entrepreneurs can trust. We believe that technology and entrepreneurship should seamlessly coexist. With everything there is to do in a day, isn’t it essential to be efficient? Open Space is aimed at improving and tackling all the small daily stresses that take up an entrepreneur’s time.

DO YOU WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS?

WE CAN HELP YOU CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN WHERE YOU ARE TODAY – AND WHERE YOU WANT TO BE

Open Space started as a forum where young entrepreneurs come together and have meaningful discussion about themselves and their small businesses. Simply put, it is a supportive community where young entrepreneurs come to vent. Life on its own is stressful, but running a Start-up as a young person with little or no support, no experience, now that is terrifying. When there's a 99.9% chance you're going to fail, because all you have is your skills or talent, no financial support, no marketing or business management skills, and there are tons of people who already believe you're going to fail. Your friends and family will tell you to quit and look for a job, not knowing you've applied countless times, with all your degrees and qualifications nothing happened. Your small business is everything you have right now, and all the people you love and trust think it’s just a waste of time. Situations like this can be devastating for anyone, mentally, physically and emotionally. This is why Open Space was started, to support young people get through their entrepreneurship hard times.
